This week we crack into the OT with a look at the story of Ruth. Only four chapters long, this beautiful tale of obedience and redemption is a great reminder of the heart and character of our God. Told through the eyes of Naomi, Ruth's mother-in-law, we see loss and bitterness turned into an amazing legacy all because of the faithfulness of a simple woman from a foreign land.
We also encounter Boaz, the Kinsman Redeemer, in a distinct foreshadowing of the redemption that Jesus offers each and every one of us if we simply believe and show obedient faith.
